Milk! Records is proud to present “Milk! Records Remixed Vol 1”, their very first remix compilation. This album features some of Milk!’s most beloved songs, crafted into something fresh & new by a collection of our favourite Australian musicians, artists and producers.
The idea for the album came to light very naturally during Milk!’s 10 Year Birthday celebrations in 2022. Reflecting on the last decade of the label, it was so clear that what drives Milk! has always been the desire to foster and nurture a community within the independent Australian music scene, giving artists the support and creative freedom they need, and a platform wherever possible.
They reached out to some of our favourite musicians around the country and asked them to re-create a known & loved Milk! release in their own name. Includes work from Marcus Whale, Mindy Meng Wang 王萌 & Tim Shiel, Banoffee, The Merindas, Stella Mozgawa, Geryon, Seja, Various Asses, Corey Kikos, Simona Castricum, California Girls, Snowy & Rebel Yell.
