Another Flying Nun Records classic - finally back in print!

A very timely reissue of this classic slice of New Zealand indie-rock from 1990. Straitjacket Fits were formed in the mid '80s by NZ music veteran and man-of-many-projects, Shayne Carter, and soon established themselves as one of En Zed's finest and most popular independent bands with a wordlwide following. Melt was their second album, originally released in 1990, and saw them delving into their own ghostly and melodic brand of rock with musical nods to 4AD and 'that' Flying Nun/NZ sound. It's been out of print since the early '90s and the band just played in Australia last week, so there's no time like now to (re)discover the greatness of Straitjacket Fits.
