Vague Rituals are a 3-piece art-punk act, comprised of alumni from Melbourne, Sydney and Portland Oregon’s multifaceted underground punk scenes. Musicians from Australian bands Further, Gentlenemy, Alarms, Villarreal and US bands Drunk Ladies & Stray Heat converge to combine an eclectic array of musical influences and produce their own engaging take on a particular brand of noise-laden, melodic indie-rock.
Vague Rituals’ members having toured for over a decade —both nationally and internationally in previous bands —and the years of reps, show in the dynamism of their live shows where they are already turning heads 360 degrees.

An unmistakably direct and personal response to modern life, Vague Rituals debut showcases their proclivity for melodic hooks and angular 'avant-guitar’ outbursts.
