The Antics self-titled burner is 34 minutes of meaningful noise, with roaring vocals, blitzing guitars, speedy drums and turbo bass. In classic Antics style, the band have moved quickly, driven by the ever-burning fire in their guts and have eloquently chewed up and spat out an album that takes you through a nostalgic and gripping listening experience. It is a mix of thrilling, playful short tracks and longer ones that hone in on the human experience of connection, heartbreak, instinct and trusting yourself, as well as finding solidity in identity.

Freya's lyrics emphasise the rage towards the disturbing injustice in a system built 
on targeting the minority that is so present in our society, as well as what it means to navigate being a young femme in a scene that is largely male dominated.
