SACRED COWBOYS 'In The Manifesto' LP

Sacred Cowboys are a moody hard rock band with a dry sense of humor. They started playing in murky Melbourne dive bars in 1982 attracting a rabid following. With the release of their iconic first single, ‘Nothing Grows in Texas’, they were catapulted to national TV notoriety on Countdown (Molly hated them, bless).

2025 saw founders Garry Gray and Mark Ferrie enlist Timothy Deane, Anthony Paine and Damian Fitzgerald to round out a new lineup of the group, and here are the results.

The Sacred Cowboys have performed intense live shows and transported that energy and mood onto this new album. It’s all killer and a tour de force of ragged rock n roll.
