Yowser! Naarm based quartet Public Figures have only been together for a tad over a year but have really made a splash, with shows supporting the likes of Shannon & The Clams, Magic Dirt and Gut Health - and, most (in)famously - the insanely packed (and ultimately cancelled) support slot for Amyl & The Sniffers at Fed Square late last year [Public Figures played; Amyl had to cancel].

The uncompromising project of longtime collaborators Evie Vlah and Gigi Agiro (both from The Sunfruits), Public Figures are punk with purpose, with songs that swing between identity, power and resistance with explosive honesty. They're Triple J Unearthed's 'discovery' this week and are playing shows in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney throughout the month.They've just dropped this 6-track 12" EP and we have 60 copies on green vinyl made exclusively for indie retailers.
