Porpoise Spit's 2nd album What's It Like Down There? is out Sep 25th. Produced by Paul Maybury (King Gizz, Cable Ties, Augie March), What's It Like Down There? builds on the template established by their 2023 debut, the community radio-worrying Don't Quit but makes it bigger, sadder, sillier, more PORPS. Single "The Boys" has been the group's best received track to date; a paen to community, the hilarious video which has been busy freaking out post-pub Rage viewers tries and fails to mask the earnestness of the message of love. "Land" doesn't try to hide it.

Don't Quit, was met with widespread acclaim; named Album of the Week at RTR, Edge Radio, and 4ZZZ, it also received strong support from major Australian stations like JJJ, RRR and PBS. It led to the group being hailed as "One to Watch" by US tastemaker station KEXP, being named the #1 Highlight of BIGSOUND by Double J and performing at the iconic Camp A Low Hum festival.
